Do Not Sell My Personal Information

1. Our Policy

BillAxe does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information or financial data to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration. This page exists to be transparent about that policy and to provide California residents with a formal opt-out mechanism as required by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

2. What “Selling” Means Under CCPA

Under the CCPA, “selling” includes sharing personal information with third parties for valuable consideration — including money, services, or other benefits. BillAxe does not engage in this practice.

3. Information We Share and Why

We share your data only with service providers who help us operate BillAxe:

• Plaid Technologies Inc. — bank connection and transaction data, solely to provide account linking
• Stripe Inc. — payment processing only, under PCI-DSS compliance
• Supabase Inc. — secure database hosting for your account data
• Microsoft Corporation — Outlook OAuth email scanning via Microsoft Graph API, only when you connect your Outlook account
• Twilio Inc. — SMS delivery for transactional notifications, only when you opt in
• Resend — transactional email delivery (account confirmations, alerts)
• Anthropic PBC — AI analysis of bills and cancellation requests via Claude; only anonymized bill data is sent
• Runway ML Inc. — AI video generation using your savings summary data; no personally identifiable information is included in video prompts
• TikTok Inc. — social media posting only when you explicitly connect your TikTok account and approve content
• Google LLC — YouTube posting only when you explicitly connect your YouTube account and approve content

These providers receive only the minimum data necessary to perform their function. They are contractually prohibited from using your data for any other purpose. This type of sharing is a service provider relationship, not a “sale” under CCPA.

4. Your CCPA Rights

As a California resident you have the right to:

• Right to Know — request disclosure of the personal information we collect, use, and share
• Right to Delete — request deletion of your personal information (visit billaxe.app/delete-my-data)
• Right to Opt-Out — opt out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell your data)
• Right to Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you
• Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Information — limit our use of sensitive personal information such as financial data
• Right to Non-Discrimination — we will never discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights

5. Opt-Out

Because BillAxe does not sell your personal information there is nothing to opt out of. However if you have any concerns about how your data is used you can:
