By creating an account or using BillAxe at billaxe.app you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree do not use the service.
BillAxe is an AI-powered personal finance platform that helps users reduce monthly expenses. The service includes: detecting recurring subscriptions from linked bank accounts and connected email accounts; negotiating lower rates with service providers; canceling unwanted subscriptions on your behalf; scanning connected email accounts (Microsoft Outlook via OAuth, or any IMAP-compatible provider) for bill-related emails; generating AI-powered short videos via Runway ML summarizing your bill negotiation wins and posting them to your connected social accounts (TikTok, YouTube) when you explicitly approve; and identifying potential tax deductions from your transactions.
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use BillAxe. By using the service you represent that you meet these requirements.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at privacy@billaxe.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.
BillAxe costs $18 per month, billed monthly via Stripe. You will be charged on the same date each month following your initial payment.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future charges. We do not issue refunds for partial months already billed.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months. If you believe you were charged in error contact us at privacy@billaxe.app within 7 days of the charge.
BillAxe’s “Cancel For Me” feature attempts to cancel subscriptions on your behalf by sending cancellation requests via email or phone call to the merchant.

This feature is provided as a convenience only. It does not constitute legal or financial advice.
BillAxe connects to your financial accounts via Plaid Technologies Inc. You authorize BillAxe to retrieve transaction history, account balances, and account metadata. We do not store your bank login credentials. All Plaid access tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM.
If you connect an email account, BillAxe scans your inbox for bill-related emails only. Email credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM and are never used for any purpose other than bill detection. You can disconnect your email account at any time from Settings.
If you connect a TikTok or YouTube account, BillAxe stores your OAuth tokens encrypted in our database. These tokens are used solely to post content you explicitly approve. You can disconnect social accounts at any time from Settings.
BillAxe identifies potential tax deductions based on your transaction history and your stated occupation.

BILLAXE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BILLAXE LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BillAxe LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses including reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Maricopa County, Arizona.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of BillAxe after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
BillAxe uses Runway ML to generate short videos summarizing your bill negotiation wins. These videos are generated automatically using your savings data. You must explicitly approve each video before it is posted to any social media platform. BillAxe is not responsible for how third-party platforms (TikTok, YouTube) distribute or moderate posted content. You retain ownership of your data; BillAxe retains a limited license to use your savings data solely to generate content on your behalf while you are an active subscriber.
Program Name: BillAxe Notifications
Message Types: Bill negotiation results, savings confirmations, subscription cancellation updates, and account notifications.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on account activity, typically 2–4 messages per month.
Rates: Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-Out: Reply STOP to cancel at any time. You will receive one final confirmation message.
Help: Reply HELP for help or contact support@billaxe.app
Carriers: Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
